Researchers from all over Sweden are coming to SciFest to take part in the national heat of the Research Grand Prix. You can join in too! The competition involves giving a short and engaging presentation on research. The winner will go through to the final in Stockholm.

The competition is organised by Vetenskap och Allmänhet and takes place on 10 October on the SciFest stage. The audience consists of sixth-form classes.

The contestants will give a four-minute popular science presentation.

Ahead of the preliminary round, the contestants will receive coaching in presentation techniques and have the opportunity to discuss how to approach their performances. This provides knowledge and experience that will be useful after the competition! This aspect has been valued most highly by previous participants.

The competition is open to anyone conducting research in the private or public sector in Sweden.
